Exploring Fun & Creativity
Creative Play
We thoroughly enjoy getting creative at Hedgehogs. We have lots of role play opportunities to ignite children's imagination through their play. To help prepare children for writing we always promote mark making with different tools such as paint brushes, crayons, chalks etc...
Singing & Dancing
We love to sing, dance and take part in action songs which are designed to engage and inspire young minds, fostering a love for music and rhythm in a fun and interactive way.
Physical Development
Encouraging physical activity and gross motor and fine motor skill development through a variety of movement-based activities, we aim to promote a healthy and active lifestyle from a young age.
Language Development
Our language development program focuses on building strong communication skills through storytelling, vocabulary expansion, and language immersion activities. The children love being involved in our daily circle time where we sing songs, use our self registration board and learn the days of the week.
Mathematics Enrichment
Introducing mathematical concepts through play-based learning and hands-on activities, we aim to spark curiosity and lay a strong foundation for future mathematical understanding. We plan lots of activities using numbers, shapes, patterns, measuring, problem solving, ensuring we have lots of counting opportunities.
Outdoor Explorations
We have amazing outdoor facilities at all of our settings. Ensuring children get lots of fresh air, no matter what the weather. We offer holistic diverse learning experiences for children. Exploring the natural world through outdoor play and nature-based learning experiences, we encourage a sense of wonder and curiosity about the environment.
