Building Partnership with Parents

All of our parents & carers are provided with details to see their child's day at Hedgehogs. This includes their daily diary, observations and gives our parents & carers the opportunity to respond and upload learning and memories in their home life.

All of our staff are welcoming and friendly and build great bonds with both children and parents/carers. We know how important it is for you to know that your child is in a happy, welcoming safe and secure environment where they're able to learn and thrive.

We are a good Ofsted preschool which reflects our commitment to excellence. We have a dedicated team of fully qualified tutors who are passionate about what they do and work tirelessly to create a caring environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and growth. Some, or all of our team members have:

• A Degree in Early Childhood Studies

• A Level 3 qualification (or working towards this)

• An enhanced DBS check - all staff are registered on the DBS update system

• All staff have 2 references in their staff files

• Paediatric first aid certificates 

• All of our settings hold a 5* Food Hygiene certificate

 

  Collaboration is also at the heart of what we do - we work closely with local schools in each of our nurseries, preparing children for their exciting journey into school life. We aim to lay a solid foundation, ensuring a smooth transition for your child's education journey.
